1 Industry background of train axle box status monitoring

In recent years, China's high-speed train industry has developed rapidly, and the speed of high-speed trains has continued to increase. As a key component of high-speed trains, the performance and occurrence of faults in the axle box directly affect the operation safety of high-speed trains, and even lead to serious traffic accidents, endangering the safety of passengers' lives and property, and causing significant social property losses. Therefore, it is of great significance to develop condition monitoring for the axle box bearings of high-speed trains, and accurately analyze and predict possible faults.

2 The purpose of monitoring the status of train axle box

As a key component of high-speed trains, the performance and occurrence of faults in the axle box directly affect the safety of train operation. Therefore, monitoring the operating status of the axle box bearings in high-speed trains and accurately analyzing and predicting their faults is of great significance. This article aims to meet the requirements of vibration monitoring and fault analysis of axle box bearings in high-speed trains. A bearing vibration monitoring system is designed and built, and bearing vibration testing experiments are conducted on the high-speed train test bench. The vibration data is analyzed in the time-frequency domain to effectively diagnose the fault of the axle box.
