On August 16th, the Greater Bay Area Alliance of China Sensor Alliance was unveiled and landed in Guangming, giving Guangming strong momentum to build the largest intelligent sensor industry cluster in the country.
Currently, a new round of technological revolution and industrial transformation is deepening globally. As an important means of sensing information and collecting data, intelligent sensors have become a key core for digital transformation in various industries and achieving "Made in China".
Intelligent sensing is one of the key industries for Guangming's development, rapidly growing into a billion dollar industrial cluster. This year, Guangming launched the "3+3+1" industrial cluster development system, and intelligent sensing is one of the advantageous leading industrial clusters that it focuses on building. Guangming District is making efforts from the five aspects of policy, funding, space, research and development, and partner development. It has introduced special industrial development support policies, established a total scale of 5 billion yuan for the intelligent sensing industry fund, and planned to build the first intelligent sensing industry demonstration park in the Greater Bay Area. Currently, it has gathered 136 sensor enterprises and achieved an output value of over 14 billion yuan in 2023. It is expected to become the administrative region with the largest scale of intelligent sensor industry agglomeration in the country.
The landing of this alliance in Guangming is expected to become a new driving force to stimulate the upgrading of Guangming's industry. The China Sensor Alliance is the only national level alliance organization in the field of domestic sensor industry. Since 2022, it has cooperated with Guangming District to hold two sessions of the China Sensor and Application Technology Conference, successfully introducing high-quality projects such as Siemens Industrial Software, Derongbao, Hanwei Technology, etc. At the same time, as a leader in the field of intelligent sensing, the China Sensor Alliance has excellent operational capabilities in promoting the progress of intelligent sensing technology, promoting industrial upgrading, and building smart cities. The joining of the alliance will become a new engine for industrial transformation and upgrading, helping Guangming win the initiative in the new industry of intelligent sensors.
