Model 533A is an IEPE triaxial accelerometer designed fortesting applications. The accelerometer uses shear piezoelectronical element which provides a wide operatingfrequency range. The IEPE sensor combines outstandingcrystals and low noise integral microelectronics to achievevery low sensitivity variation over the operating temperaturerange, compared to other sensing element designs. Theshear element technology also ensures high immunity tobase strain errors. The accelerometer uses a weldedtitanium construction and a light weight connector for lowermass and wider frequency operation. Model 533A can bemounted by screw through the center hole benefit of flexiblecable exit. Excellent frequency response, both amplitudeand phase, provide the user with a triaxial accelerometerideally suited for structural and component testing, droptests and general laboratory vibration work. The miniaturesize of this accelerometer enables the test engineer ortechnician to measure the accelerations of three orthogonalaxes of vibration simultaneously on lightweight structures. All variations provide reliable measurements and long-termstability.
