Model 737A is a mini IEPE tri-axial accelerometer designedfor miniature applications. The accelerometer uses shearpiezo electronical element which provides a wide operatingfrequency range. The IEPE sensor combines outstandingcrystals and low noise integral microelectronics to achievevery low sensitivity variation over the operating temperaturerange, compared to other sensing element designs. Theshear element technology also ensures high immunity tobase strain errors. The accelerometer uses a weldedtitanium construction for low mass and a light weight 4 pinconnector. Optional design is available for underwaterapplication(class IP68), the water-proof design is work forapplication of underwater vibration testing at up to 1 Mpa.Excellent frequency response, both amplitude and phase, provide the user with a tri-axial accelerometer ideally suitedfor structural and component testing, drop tests and generallaboratory vibration work. The miniature size of thisaccelerometer enables the test engineer or technician tomeasure the accelerations of three orthogonal axes ofvibration simultaneously on lightweight structures. Allvariations provide reliable measurements and long-termstability.
